Meet Christina...
Dr. Christina Jackson, DAHM, LAc (she/her) is an acupuncturist, Chinese herbalist, teacher, and researcher. Her practice focus is complex internal medicine issues including chronic pain syndromes, endocrine imbalances, digestive issues, cancer support and survivorship. In addition, she has specialized training and clinical interest in obstetrics and gynecology including: all stages of pregnancy, postpartum, recurrent pregnancy loss, PMS, menstrual pain, fibroids, endometriosis, PCOS, ovarian cysts, HPV, and menopausal issues. She especially enjoys the challenge of complicated cases.
A pioneer in her field, Christina became the first Seattle area acupuncturist to practice in a fertility clinic alongside reproductive endocrinologists in 1998. Since that time, she has taught ob/gyn courses on with Chinese herbal medicine, gynecology, and obstetrics in clinical and academic settings. She is a past faculty member of the Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine (SIEAM) and at Bastyr University. She also provides mentorship to students and practitioners.
Christina is a member of the Washington State East Asian Medical Association and the Washington State Department of Health Acupuncture and Eastern Medicine Advisory Committee. She is board certified by The National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncturists (NCCAOM). She completed her studies at The Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 1995, and later her Doctoral Degree in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine in 2020 at SIEAM.

Meet Carolyn...
- Carolyn Arenas, MAcHM, LAc, Dipl. OM, RN, is a dual-licensed Acupuncturist, Chinese Herbalist, and Registered Nurse in the State of Washington. She earned her Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (MAcHM) from the Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine and is a nationally board-certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (Dipl. OM). Carolyn is also a Registered Nurse and has worked in a variety of clinical settings since 2006, including Cardiac Care, Oncology, Hospice and Palliative Care.
Carolyn has a special interest in combining Traditional Chinese Medicine with orthopedic knowledge and sports medicine techniques such as Tensegrity-Based Needling and dry needling. This enables her to provide comprehensive assessment and treatment protocols that provide effective and lasting relief from pain. She has also pursued additional training in Women’s Healthcare, Gynecology, and Pregnancy.
Carolyn combines her nursing experience with the wisdom of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine to provide effective and accessible patient-centered care with warmth, insight and integrity. In her free time, she can be found either curled up with a good book or jaunting about in the great outdoors, on land and on sea.
