Welcome! What to Expect...
We are looking forward to meeting you! When you schedule, you will receive a link to paperwork in your email for your first appointment. Please complete your paperwork BEFORE your appointment to allow your full appointment time. Please investigate your insurance benefits before your visit to determine your benefits. For accurate information, review our insurance section here.
Plan 90 minutes for your first visit. Please be sure to eat prior to your first treatment. Special clothing is not necessary but you may prefer to wear something that is loose and comfortable. We recommend abstaining from excessive caffeine, alcohol, perfume or makeup for your first visit to ensure a correct diagnosis. Your appointment time will be spent reviewing your medical history, learning about your goals for treatment, performing an assessment including examination of the tongue, pulse, abdomen, and exploring physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors that may be affecting your health. We will form a diagnosis from the Chinese medical perspective, answer your questions, will be answered, and make a plan to help. You can expect treatment with acupuncture, herbs, lifestyle and dietary suggestions or a combination.
You will receive more benefit from your treatment if you are not extremely active after your visit and if you avoid any activities that aggravate your condition for the following 24 hours if possible.
